Founding Members

The Board has entrusted me with the mission of building the Shine Tak Foundation into an innovative charitable organization—one that serves Hong Kong with fresh thinking and pioneering approaches, while creating an interactive platform that welcomes participation from all sectors.

Our first initiative is “Inno Charity.” Derived from Innovation, it reflects our commitment to inspiring creativity among young people. A dedicated committee will encourage the development of smart products guided by both technological innovation and a culture of care. This will not only give youth opportunities to realize their potential, but also cultivate empathy, responsibility, and a global outlook through user‑centered thinking.

We encourage the younger generation, in this new economy, to “dream boldly and build steadfastly”—to rise through creativity and set new benchmarks for the Y‑generation.

In March next year, we will launch our flagship event, the Shine Tak Charity Hike for Millions. Rooted in our principle of “Infinite Benevolence, Virtue Across the World,” this unique activity requires no road closures or special skills, yet invites city‑wide participation across all ages. It will foster compassion, strengthen unity, and deepen love for Hong Kong.

Statistics show that running is Hong Kong’s most popular sport, with over 703,000 participants (20.2%). By engaging hiking enthusiasts, we aim to gather more than 780,000 people—22.5% of the population—making hiking the city’s most beloved activity. Next spring, we invite everyone to explore Hong Kong’s 41 scenic trails, admired even by overseas visitors. Amid green hills and flowing waters, we can set aside urban worries, broaden our horizons, and experience harmony together.
