Chinese Cultural Excellence Campus Program
To promote the richness of traditional Chinese culture, the Shin Tak Foundation launched the “Shin Tak Academy – Chinese Cultural Excellence Campus Program” in 2020 with funding support from Bank of China (Hong Kong). Over a three-year period, the program successfully brought arts-based classes into schools, reaching more than 3,800 primary students and offering them immersive experiences in Chinese cultural heritage.
The program culminated in a grand finale performance, where students showcased their learning achievements. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Kevin Yeung, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Li Gongxun, Deputy Head of the NT Working Committee, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR; and Dr. Cheng Songyin, Chief Information Officer, Bank of China (Hong Kong). Over 300 students from diverse backgrounds took part in a vibrant stage production retelling the legendary story of Mulan taking her father’s place in battle. The performance drew an enthusiastic audience of more than 700 and was met with great acclaim.
