Territory-wide Inter-school National Security Knowledge Challenge
To help students better understand national security and related laws including the Constitution, the Basic Law, the Hong Kong National Security Law and the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance, the Department of Justice, Security Bureau, Education Bureau and Shan Tak Foundation will co-organize this activity and to encourage school-wide participation and supports key dates like Constitution Day (Dec 4) and National Security Education Day (Apr 15), building awareness and a shared sense of responsibility among youth.
Target group
Open to all primary and secondary schools across Hong Kong, covering all 18 districts.
Result
Knowledge Outreach : 610 schools joined - covering 55% of Hong Kong' s primary and secondary schools
Participation Scale : 228,000students participated - over 20% year-on-year
Expanding Public Awareness : 2 million citizens reached — boosting public awareness through media coverage

• Everyone' s invited : We are excited to introduce a new English category for international and ethnic minority students.
