Since 2021, the Shin Tak Foundation has launched the “Little Elites” early childhood education series to nurture patriotism and positive values among kindergarten students from a young age. The series includes multiple books and tabletop games designed to align with the kindergarten curriculum. These materials support flexible use inside and outside the classroom, helping teachers strengthen students’ sense of national identity and pride.

Programme Objective
To nurture positive values and a sense of lawfulness among kindergarten students and their families from an early age.
Volume 1: “Little Elites • Exploring Kwai Tsing”
Volume 2: Little Elites • Festival Moments
Through stories centered on traditional festivals, cultural customs, and major national events, this book helps young kids explore Chinese culture and develop a sense of national pride. It encourages respect for the national flag, anthem, and emblem, while nurturing positive values, civic awareness, and cultural identity. The book also aims to foster a sense of belonging and responsibility toward the country, the community, and society at large.
Volume 3: “Little Elites • Greater Bay Connections”
Through these story books and tabletop games, children are introduced to the 9+2 cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The aim is to help them understand the region’s development and strengths from an early age, foster a sense of national pride, and inspire them to contribute to the prosperity and stability of the country in the future.
Volume 4: “Little Elites • Love for the Motherland”- tabletop games and story book
This volume features tabletop games and story book introducing landmarks, cuisine, and cultural highlights from Hong Kong, Macao, and 20 provinces across Mainland China. Through interactive game cards, children learn about the country while developing a stronger sense of national identity. A new section on anti-scam awareness is included to help young learners recognize common scams and build safety awareness.

Students described the activities as “really fun”
And said the games helped them better understand the unique features of different provinces and cities across the country. Many shared that they enjoyed playing with their parents. As for the new anti-scam awareness cards, both students were familiar with the topic. One student, 黃芷晴, drew a scenario involving a stranger trying to approach or invite her out, and learned how to respond safely.
